SOLD - LIKE NEW 2019 Casita Freedom Deluxe 17' – $29,900 - Denver, CO

This Casita Freedom Deluxe 17’ fiberglass camper sleeps 2. It’s light and easy to tow, maneuver and park. Currently located in Colorado – we have a clean title in hand. (It's in Western Colorado now, but can be in Denver for Thanksgiving - so location is flexible.)

Extremely well taken care of, in ‘almost new’ condition, we love the quality and how nimble this camper is. We tow it behind our 2015 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk and have enjoyed camping in RV parks, state parks and a couple of beautiful boondocking locations. Our reason for selling is we added a fur baby to our family this year, so we’ve decided we need something bigger for our extended RV travel plans.

This Casita Freedom Deluxe 17’ fiberglass travel trailer comes with the following features and options:

– Bathroom with wet bath, toilet, shower, vanity
– Kitchen with microwave, 2 burner propane stove top
– Dometic Fridge/Freezer (4 cubic feet)
– Video Entertainment Package (22” HD TV w/DVD, TV Antenna w/amp, Cable Ready)
– Air Conditioner
– Furnace
6–  gallon Water Heater (propane/electric – new anode rod)
– LED lights inside and out
– Smoke Detector
– 23 gallon fresh water tank upgrade
– 32 gallon gray Tank
– 15 gallon black Tank
2– x 20lb propane tanks
– Original lead acid battery (we have replaced this with a Battle Born lithium battery – choose which you prefer as we still have original)
– Electric Tongue Jack
– Friction Anti Sway Control
– High lift suspension package (High Lift Axle, 15 D rated radial tires)
– 15" aluminum Alloy Wheels
– Aluminum Cased Patio Awning
– Outside Shower/Wash Station
– Casita Trailer cover (never used – we stored the camper in our undercover carport)
– Casita Mattress Shell – turns existing dinette cushions into a comfortable mattress, custom made for Casita campers ($499 value) It makes for an extremely comfortable bed. We always leave the bed set up, but you could take out the mattress shell and use as a dinette area.
– Tinted Windows (reduces solar heat gain in summer, increases privacy)

As you may be aware, the wait time on a NEW 2023 Casita is 14-18 months. If ordering this unit new and fully optioned from the factory (over $4,000 worth), plus the custom Casita Mattress Shell ($500) you would be paying around $31,200. We are asking $29,900 or best offer. If seriously interested, reach out and make an offer.

HISTORY / CONDITION
– First owners had this Casita for one year, used it 3 times (1,500 miles) and did not use most appliances. So it was like new when we bought it in July 2020.
– As second owners, we have used it for a total of around 6 weeks over the past 16 months, and stored it undercover in our carport when not being used.
– Original tires (date code 2219) driven approx 4,000–5,000 miles so still plenty of life left in them (in terms of age, condition and tread).
– Custom Casita trailer cover has never been used.
– Currently winterized. Bearings packed within the last year.

Since purchasing 16 months ago, we have added $2,500 in upgrades: Battle Born 100ah lithium battery / monitor; Honda 2000 watt generator; wood roman shades; and window tinting. These are all optional, let us know if you want to buy those too, we can do a package deal.

OPTIONAL ADDITIONS/UPGRADES:
Battle Born Lithium Battery 100ah: Installed, along with a Battery Monitor wall mounted inside (value approx $1,000); Honda EU2200i Generator 2200 Watts: Practically new, we’ve used once: approx 20-25 hours on it. Powerful enough for running A/C (Paid $1,185); Cordless Wood Roman Shades: We purchased these for living / bedroom windows but still have the factory venetian blinds up. We haven’t installed the new shades, but can do if you want them. If not, we can sell in a Casita Owner’s group. (Paid $285);

SUMMARY
This little camper has been well taken care of and maintained. We consider it to be in excellent ‘like new’ condition, except for some minor cosmetic damage on a small corner of the carpeting under the dining area, where our (hypoallergenic) pup chewed on it!

This is a non-smoking unit, no kids. And we only took our pup out on one trip - he slept on the floor and is hypo allergenic (no allergens - mini goldendoodle).

Being a 2019 model, this is the new, current styling, which looks very clean and modern with the white fiberglass and gray cabinet doors. It’s very easy to keep clean, with vinyl wood-look flooring, and fiberglass surfaces. For a little camper, this has great storage and about 1,000 pounds of cargo carrying capacity. Dry weight is 2,480 pounds. Looks super cute and attracts lots of attention, and there are Casita and fiberglass egg camper groups that meet up regularly, which provide fun social opportunities. It is a great quality, fun little camper, we hope you will love it as much as we have.
