REASON FOR SELLING: This Casita was purchased so we could give RV camping a try. We have enjoyed it enough that we have decided to sell our sticks & bricks house and become full-time RVers. We feel that a 17' RV is not large enough for 2 adults, 2 dogs, and 1 small pet bird. If we were going to continue part-time RV camping, this Casita would not be available for sale.

Although this Casita is fully capable of camping with RV park hookups, it was configured specifically with dry-camping in mind. The trailer was ordered from the factory with a High Lift Suspension Kit for taking the trailer to unimproved areas. The battery was upgraded to a 100 amp hour maintenance-free AGM battery. To help manage your power consumption, a Victron Energy BMV-712 Battery Monitor System was installed (and is included in the base asking price of the trailer). This monitor gives detailed information about battery charge levels, power consumption rates, and calculated remaining time per charge. You can download a free app from the Apple App Store, or the Google Play App store for your smartphone to closely monitor and control your battery monitor system.

The buyer can elect to add the C-Head Composting Toilet to minimize water usage. If the buyer prefers to have the original conventional toilet that the Casita came with from the factory, the composting toilet will be removed before the sale is completed.
