We bought this SCAMP from a friend a couple of years ago and totally refurbished it.
Here are the specs on the SCAMP:
Dry weight #1550
- Electric Brakes
- 30 Amp cord with adapter for household power
- City water connection with 12 gal water storage tank
- Electric heater and AC, both work great.
- Has a Dometic fridge that can run on shore power or propane
- Single propane tank up front
- Has self stowing awning
- Does not have microwave, cabinet with outlet above refrigerator originally had one, could be added there.
- Two burner stove
- Does not have antenna. It did originally, so you can add one if you would like.
- "Fantastic" fan
- The camper is spotless!
Purchased in 2017, rehabbed from 2017-2018:
- Replaced battery.
- Original American converter did not work, replaced with a new converter
- Some water damage in the subfloor where water leaked in through spare tire attachment. Repaired all soft spots with marine grade epoxy and repaired leak.
- Completely removed original linoleum floor and replaced with new "hardwood" look plank flooring
- Replaced original bulbs with LEDs
- Replaced front (shower) window gasket and hardware
- Added water shutoff between water supply and toilet (ball valve)
- Repaired leak in toilet
- Added 3-way connection near water pump to allow easier winterization - tubing runs into antifreeze jug, pump pushes antifreeze to fixtures
- Replaced leaking grey water filter
- Replaced all loose / missing rivets and snap caps
- Replaced all original cabinet / door pulls with updated ones
- Repainted all interior wood
- All roof openings professionally caulked (at RV repair shop)
- Replaced tongue jack
- Added "criss cross" chains for tow safety
- Added new seal (purchased from SCAMP factory) to the main door
- Sanded and painted cabinets for a fresh look
- Refinished dining table with Kandinsky art
- New pillows and cushions with custom covers
- Blinds are all in great shape
We are only selling it because I am 6' and my husband is 6'6". We are just too tall to big to fit well in the camper.
