2005 Scamp 19' with N/S bed - $12,500 - Camp Verde, AZ

2005 Scamp 5th wheel for sale. This is one of the most unique 19' standard models you will find. This trailer has been highly modified for comfort/usability. It has a converted loft space that provides comfortable, front-to-back sleeping...no more crawling over your partner in the middle of the night! Custom wood and wood accented cabinetry provide extra storage. There is a U-shaped dinette with upgraded upholstery and new (2022) vinyl plank flooring. The bathroom door was replaced (2021) with a custom, light weight wood panel door. Rooftop solar panels and LED lighting upgrades allow for off grid camping without a generator.

Factory Options:

Propane furnace, refrigerator (4.6 cubic feet), 2 burner stove, shower and toilet (wet bath combo), hot water heater, multi-speed fantastic fan, self-stowing awning, porch light, screen door, dual propane tanks, grey water tank, black water tank, electric brakes, spare tire.  No A/C.

Interior Features:

  • U-shaped Dinette -- additional seating, converts to 2nd bed
  • Front-to-back queen bed (60" x 75") in loft -- easy access with built-in stairs
  • Extra storage -- large 4-drawer dresser, storage under loft stairs, additional overhead cabinets, plus closet for hanging clothes
  • Double sink with sprayer hose
  • Combo Microwave / Toasting Oven (requires 120v shore power)
  • LED lighting throughout
  • Large gear storage space (or dog bed area) next to stairs for backpacks, bike helmets and other bulky gear

Hardware & Equipment Updates:

  • Upgraded to 14-inch tires and rims - new tires in 2020
  • 3-inch box beam lift for improved ground clearance
  • Larger fresh water tank with light-up water level gauge
  • 2 exterior hatches for stowing set-up and other gear
  • Dual 50-watt Solar Panels & Charge Controller - panels are roof mounted
  • Volt/Amp Meter -- monitor energy use and consumption
  • Wave 3 Catalytic Heater (super quiet) AND the standard factory propane furnace
  • Water heater with a Hott Rod Water Heater Element that comes on when plugged into shore power, so you can run on propane -or- electric
  • Power Landing Gear -- raise and drop the front landing gear with the flip of a switch (manual crank still available)
  • BAL Leveler with dedicated locking storage system

Most of the modifications were done by the previous owner and documented on the fiberglass RV forum.  Below are links to several of his posts:

***** Does not include the gooseneck hitch hardware for the tow vehicle.  The trailer is in Arizona, but the tow vehicle with the hitch is in Canada, so the hitch is not available..  It's a long story!!  I would suggest purchasing and installing the updated 5th wheel hitch and adapter sold by the Scamp factory.  This is a better setup than the original hitch that mounted to the wheel wells in the truck bed.  There is quite a bit of info on this in the various Scamp forums.
