2005 17’ Casita Spirit Deluxe Travel Trailer- Located in Grand Junction, Colorado:
Asking $9,000.00

We have decided to sell our family’s 2005 17’ Casita Spirit Deluxe travel trailer.

About our Casita-

It was purchased new in 2005 by my parents from Casita Enterprises. It lived most of its life in Northern Virginia, and was brought west by us to Grand Junction, Colorado in 2018. The Casita is in good, but very well used condition, and shows the wear and tear one would expect to see associated with a 15 year old used camper. New tires were installed on it last year. Rear Dinette was converted to bed by my parents, but original parts/cushions included. Unfortunately, it has not moved this entire season, and in fact still has antifreeze in the drains from last winter. Also, it has been covered since last winter as well. This is not a perfect Casita, and it could use a bit of love. It might be best if it goes to someone already familiar with Casita repairs. That said, it could be a great little camper for the right person, it should be used, and still has a lot of life/trips left in it. I will do my best to describe it. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions regarding our Casita and I will try to answer them.

Known Issues-Please Read Carefully

When we got the Casita, it had a lot of oxidation as it was not always covered. I had it buffed/waxed last year by ColorAuto here in Grand Junction, but the top was left untouched and still shows oxidation/staining. I've noticed a few small hairline cracks in the gel coat throughout. There is a mark on the door where it swung too far and made contact with metal trim. There is 1 pop rivet missing along the driver's side top of camper (runs through to the interior cabinet). Also there is some surface rust/corrosion on the frame around the “tongue”. Underneath the Casita the frame looks to be fairly clean. Awning is also well used and could be replaced but functions. Screen door could be replaced. Blinds are well used but functional. Door grab bar is loose, but will include a new one from Casita(black, un-installed). Also....we have never used the bathroom or kitchen sink. I was told by the shop de-winterizing it a year ago the sink leaked and the toilet flush mechanism was not working properly/sticking. We have not addressed these things since we haven't used them. I would recommend the entire plumbing system be gone through anyway to check for leaks before it gets charged. Drains/water tank filled with antifreeze last winter but lines were not blown out.

Photos-

Pictures are of our Casita from a couple of trips last year. Some before and some after cleaning/wax. Sorry I do not have great current pictures as it is covered and stored. Covered/stored photos included so you can see its condition as it sits today. I will work on getting the interior cleaned out today, and add better/current interior pictures later.
