SOLD - 1997 17' Casita Liberty Deluxe - $13,450 - Berkeley, CA

Rare 17 foot liberty model without bulky roof AC so it will fit in a normal garage. All Fiberglass so no rust or rot!
Nice Toilet, Shower, Stove, Fridge, AC, Furnace!

Text or call me with any questions

Light enough to be towed by almost anything. Subaru, small SUV, even regular cars! It is light enough that I can push it up the driveway to get it stored, or you can nudge it into alignment when you're hitching it up to tow!

Good gas mileage: I usually get about 25mpg and towing this up to the sierras I got 16mpg (a trip to Tahoe and back would only cost $25 in extra gas compared to driving in my car alone)

You can easily stay off-grid for a week in this without any problems. Plenty of storage, water, electricity, etc. Would like to keep it but my housing situation is changing, so it's time to go.

Could even use the Casita as a second home in your yard or driveway! (or stealth ADU in a garage)

The liberty model is most sought after because it has the biggest kitchen in the casita line up and the bed can either be a queen size + dining area, king-size, or two twin beds if people want to sleep separately so they can get up in the night without waking their partner.

The bad:
- Electric water heater only (currently disconnected, comes with solar shower which I actually prefer)
- The propane water heater fix is easy & have an appointment to have the water propane water heater fixed next week (when it's fixed the trailer will have 2 water heaters which increases the amount of water you can carry the price will go up)
- The Casita could use a cleaning (just being honest)
- A couple of pieces of hardware are missing (interior cabinet handle), some non-necessary rivets (Any holes have been caulked
- 2 lights are out
- One of the awning poles needs to be re-riveted to the awning but the awning works the way it is.

The good:
- Can run the AC, fridge, and whole unit from just one regular outlet. Hook up to electricity, use everything in the trailer and simultaneously charge the battery anywhere!
- Re-checked caulking and wheel bearings
- Shower, toilet, sink, sewer, AC, the rest of the electric works
- Great battery! Just had it professionally checked and charged and I built a simple disconnect for it
- Upgraded to LED lights
- All of the original manuals
- Under the spare tire cover is the cute matching rim
- Comes with all of the original cushions, blinds, and hardware

Included Extras:
- I built a custom bed frame with split 100% latex mattress. Saves a lot of space and gives more storage!
- Wheel chocks and leveling jacks, everything you need to set up camp
- Sewer hose, elbow, and donut. Everything you need to dump
- Drinking water safe hose & pressure regulator. Everything you need to fill it with water and hook it up to a potable water line
- Extension cord and adapter. Can run the AC, fridge, and whole unit from a regular outlet. Hook up to electricity and charge the battery anywhere!
- Upgraded safety chains
- Tongue lock, no one can steal it
- Propane locks
- Custom shower/bathroom towel bars
- Suction cups for additional hanging and grips
- Bungee setup to hold everything in place while traveling
- Spare rivets & rivet caps, etc.
- Spare light covers in case they crack
- Solar shower included (the outdoor showers in nature are far better than any indoor shower)
- Sway control kit
- Manuals and user guides
- Some additional spare parts
- Blackwater cleaning wand (important for maintenance)

Optional Extras: (Not included but could be for the right price)
- Delivery available
- All of the dishware, sheets, towels, utensils that you'd want to leave on a trip tomorrow or turn it into an instant ADU / granny unit / in-law unit
- A high-end sewer macerator pump ($300) and hose ($100) that allows you to pump waste up to 100 feet away uphill!
I have used it to go directly into a sewer cleanout at a house. No need to have a dump station nearby, can put the hose into a toilet, or even garage sink! Makes it so easy to park this anywhere, not just at RV spots
- Instructions and hardware to hook it up to your home and make it an instant second home! I can advise you on how to do it and help you set it up at your house

Casitas are fiberglass and don't have the same problems as most campers. They're similar to Scamp, Boller, Trillium, Bigfoots, and other fiberglass eggs with a large support community.
