SOLD - 1995 16' Casita Spirit Deluxe - $12500 - Seattle, WA

Interior pictures coming today. In the meantime, feel free to schedule a time to come see it yourself.

Selling our amazing 16 foot Casita Spirit Deluxe self contained travel / camper trailer. This trailer has been such a blast, but regretfully we just don't use it enough. We'd love for it to go to an owner that would continue to care for it and maintain it like we, and the previous owners, have.

We looked for many months for a Casita/Scamp/Etc and couldn't find one that met our needs. If you've been looking, you know the struggle. Many were poorly maintained, and often the "repairs" were even worse. This trailer is not a refurbished unit. It has been immaculately cared for, for the last 25 years. Everything is solid, everything works. There are no funny smells, or stains. We encourage you to look at a few (if you can find them) before coming to see this one. We've always kept a proper compressor style dehumidifier running in the trailer for as long as we've owned it. The previous owners took similar care to keep the trailer dry. There's not a hint of mold or mildew anywhere in the vehicle. All said, this IS a 25 year old trailer. It's well maintained, and in excellent used condition, but has been used and thus has its imperfections.

This is the deluxe model, so it has a toilet/shower/sink room. The freshwater system is pressurized by an electric on demand pump, including the toilet flush. The fridge is 3 way, and works perfect! There's even a microwave! The curtains and carpeted walls are in perfect shape and show no signs of rips or stains. Every single record has been kept, including all manuals. Tons of extras are included; new valves, cover, extra bearings, and lots of casita specific hardware.

- All the lights, inside and out, have been converted to LED for low draw.
- Proper 3-way battery switch has been added for safe DC usage.
- The DC system has been rewired to the fuse panel for modern standards/safety.
- A double propane tank system, with cover, has been added for extra capacity.
- Fused anderson plug has been added to the elec box to plug in a solar suitcase, or external DC connection.
- The ac/dc converter has been moved to is own peanut breaker so all outlets can be functional without the converter on. Typically, due to the low draw of the DC system, on shore power we leave the converter off and just keep the battery charger plugged in.
- Awning clips have been added to make the dometic awning free standing, which is great for uneven/sloping terrain or tight spaces.
- Folding spare tire mount has been added to the rear bumper
- We painstakingly trimmed down a full thickness memory foam mattress to fit the rear dinette/bed portion of the trailer. This mattress is far more comfortable than the factory seat cushions, even with a mattress topper. All factory cushions are included and in excellent shape.
- I'm sure there's something I'm missing...

A full price offer would include all accessories including shore power cable and surge protector, fresh water hose and filter, clip on towing mirrors, proper compressor style dehumidifier, adjustable BAL trailer leveler/wheel chock, hitch locks, and more...

I'm not in any hurry to sell, and will wait for the right offer and (maybe more importantly) right owner. Cash is strongly preferred, but could be open to trades (all of equal or greater value, or plus cash) for:

  • Land
  • Small high quality fishing boat like whaler arima c-dory
  • Land Cruiser 70 80 100
