This trailer is just completed after a three-year total restoration/rebuild! Following is a list of the things we did to make this trailer better-than-new!
The first thing we did was completely scrape and sand the frame underneath. We raised the frame to give it more ground clearance. We completely undercoated the entire frame. (Also repacked the wheel bearings.) We removed the LP tanks and all LP lines. We sanded and painted the front tongue of the trailer.
We removed all the windows and had the glass replaced and the frames powder coated. Removed all lighting and exterior wiring and hardware. We removed the “belly band” from the exterior and fiber-glassed together the gap. We had the exterior sanded and painted. We installed a stabilizer hitch to the front tongue. We added a storage box to the front tongue. Installed an AGM sealed battery inside the box with charge connections on the outside. Added a lift up lid inside to allow storage inside compartment. Installed new electric front hitch lift. Installed new wiring harness and new wiring connection for tow vehicle. Installed new 120V exterior receptacles. New porch/security lights and new hood vent. Added LED lighting on the exterior including LED Tail-lights. Installed spare tire carrier with fiberglass cover to new rear bumper. Installed wheels with new tires.
Installed all new plumbing connections and hookups. Installed new gray tanks with new dump valves and all new plumbing under trailer. Installed new water tank and all new connections.
Removed all of the interior components including fiberglass cabinets, counters, and bed-tops/dining bases (everything.) Removed all old carpet from the sidewalls and ceiling. Removed old glue residue. Fabricated and installed ceiling structure to add strength in order to install a new roof ac unit. Applied a ceramic insulation spray-on material called “Lizard Skin” to all interior walls and ceiling. Painted interior walls and ceiling. Re-painted all interior cabinet structures. Removed old flooring down to fiberglass, reinforced and installed new vinyl plank flooring.
Reinstalled refinished cabinetry. Installed new electric water heater, new refrigerator, new microwave, new induction stove top, and hood vent. Installed new stainless-steel sink and new faucet. Install 120V outlets and USB ports.
Installed new TV & DVD Player. Installed new cabinet doors. Installed new dining table and new bunk/sofa bases and supports. Installed new LED lighting inside trailer. Installed all new upholstery for dinette/bed and sofa/bunk beds. Installed new bunk bed supports. Installed all new 30 Amp electrical system. Installed new roller shades on windows. Installed new Reinstalled new glass and powder coated windows. Installed new roof ac unit with Easy Start Soft Starter to allow use of a smaller portable generator.
Installed new Nautilus Brand sliding shower door inside bathroom door to eliminate shower curtain. Installed new toilet with spray attachment. Installed new shower faucet assembly. Installed new cover toilet paper holder and new soap/shampoo holder. Installed new sink, new non-glass mirror, and towel holder.
Installed new Fiamma Awning, new plumbing vents, roof vents and new TV Antenna.
