SOLD - 1985 17ft Bigfoot Trailer - $12,500 - Chiloquin, OR

1985 17ft. Bigfoot camp trailer.
Very nice condition for its age and super fun for camping or hunting trips. Interior is in excellent condition and all original. Curtains, upholstery and cabinets are in excellent condition and it has three sleeping areas. The appliances are all original as well. The refrigerator, stove and furnace all work great but the oven does not work, I have not really needed it and I never got around to fixing it. The refrigerator/freezer operates on both electric and propane.
The awning is original and in excellent condition and it’s very big. The support legs can be placed on the ground or left attached to the camper (see photos).
I installed a Dexter 3500lb easy lube axle, new leaf springs, wheel bearings and electric brakes. The tires are still in great shape.
All the lights work inside and out. I upgraded all the exterior running lights.
Propane tanks and regulator were replaced last year and the tanks still have propane. The battery is good too and holds a charge just fine.
The power unit works perfectly and keeps the battery charged when plugged into an external 120volt source or when hooked up to the tow vehicle.
Previous owner said the hot water heater does not work and I have never got around to fixing it. New hot water heaters are still available for these. I have never put water in the tanks or used the bathroom/shower but everything is there.
I have taken it on two hunting trips and several other outings and it’s just a great little camper.
It has no leaks but when I bought it there was water damage around the ceiling vent. This has been repaired and all rot removed but it could use some trim work to make it look better.
There is work to be done on the bathroom vent as well. It does not leak but at some point in the past it has, the previous owner replaced the vent but did not repair the moisture damage. This is an easy fix since the wood frame is only around the square opening so any moisture damage doesn’t spread through out the ceiling. I can show you how to repair this, it’s really straightforward. Give me a call and I can explain any issues easier over the phone.
Overall the camper is in good solid condition where it matters and all the items that need attention are an easy fix if you have some basic skills.
I have a bunch of extra stuff that comes with it, 6 jack stands, hitch lock, hoses etc.
It has a clear title in my name.
Please feel free to ask me any questions and I am happy to send you more photos.
