SOLD - 1982 Scamp 19' converted to bumper pull - $6,500 - Palmer, AK

Modified 1982 Scamp 19' - converted to bumper-pull (travel trailer). $6500 or best offer.

Many updates and modifications have been done. More to be done - a "work in progress". In it's current configuration, my wife and I spent 7 months in this camper going south to Arizona and back this past winter. Health issues and changed priorities prompt its sale.

Done: New axle from Scamp factory, with electric brakes, 15" wheels and 2" lift; new scissor jack stabilizers welded on; back luggage platform with 1-1/4" bicycle rack receiver welded on; locking fresh water tank cap installed; all exterior lights converted to LED; water heater deleted; custom aluminum step added; converted to removable shore power cord and socket; doorway grab handle added; exterior LED flood light added; new escape hatch above bed installed (from Scamp); wired for battery, inverter, and solar power; lockable "basement" installed under the bed loft; battery box for 4 golf cart batteries installed in "basement"; battery monitor and shunt installed; custom theft deterrent spare holder installed under loft; electric tongue jack added; anti-sway brake added; stock refrigerator replaced with 4.3 cu/ft 120V refrigerator; new door latch from Scamp; steps to loft with storage under added; shelves and storage added by bed; adjustable TV bracket added; 110V outlet added at loft; original toilet deleted in favor of composting or cassette toilet (not included); all cabinet doors replaced with custom doors (made from up-cycled pallet wood); epoxy coated butcher-block counter tops; new 2 burner stove; new deep stainless steel sink w/drainer rack; new 12V water pump; 12V meter, pump switch, 12V socket, USB outlet panel added; clean-out port and insulated jacket (to prevent condensation) added to water tank; shelf over dinette added; florescent light over stove replaced with LED; old fridge location converted to pantry storage; engineered flooring installed; 12V touch activated spotlights with USB charge ports installed over dinette and inside the door; bright LED added over sink. The black water tank was deleted with the toilet - there is still a 14 or 15 gallon grey water tank installed.

This camper is offered WITHOUT the solar panel electronics, batteries, and inverter. (I need them for another project.) Battery monitor and shunt, wiring, switch and breakers stay with the camper.

Included are drive on leveler blocks, extra leveler blocks, 15 gallon "blue boy" portable grey water tank, 30A shore power cord and 15A adapter, water hose and grey water hose ("stinky slinky"), trunks and tie-downs for the luggage platform, hitch for 2" receiver with 2" ball and ball for the stabilizer brake welded on.

This camper has traveled the Al-Can at least 5 times since being converted from 5th wheel to bumper pull. Having said that, I make no guarantee or warranty about the conversion - do your own research.

This could be converted back to 5th wheel configuration if desired. The landing gear is still there and functional.
