This adorable 16-foot 1981 Scamp trailer (aka our “Sugarcube”) is ready for adventure! There aren’t a lot of these vintage Scamps around, and this has been a very fun home away from home. Sleeps up to 4 comfortably. The main bed sleeps two (as tall as 6’), plus another two can sleep on bunk beds that convert to a bench couch at the other end of the trailer. We have really enjoyed being cozy and warm in this little trailer enjoying a glass of wine playing cards at the table while the rain comes down outside in the forest. Being of this age, this trailer has a few minor issues, but nothing major.

First, the pros — we’ve put a lot of love into her:

- New tires and repacked bearings
- New flooring
- New interior paint, including fresh cabinet paint and fixtures
- New handmade curtains
- New full length mirror
- New freshwater lines to the sink handpump
- Working stove, heater, refrigerator and freshwater tank
- Oregon registration valid through April of 2021
- Original candy-striped awning

Cons (future projects, should you choose):

- The bathroom/shower was decommissioned by previous owners, but we feel this is a pro—that closet now provides tons of storage space!
- One window knob needs to be replaced (can open with pliers in the meantime)
- One stove knob needs to be replaced—the other two burners work fine
- When there is a monsoon rain, there is a small leak in the skylight. We have experienced several regular rains with no leaks there.

This trailer is priced to reflect the money and sweat equity we put into it, but adjusted down due to the “cons” list. We’d consider best offers, but no low-ball offers.
