Selling my 1977 13 foot Scamp. It's a project in need of a good home to finish it. Outside Charleston, SC.
Scamp camper for renovation project. The good: 1977 13 foot Scamp, front bunks, no bathroom. Clean title. Had axle replaced in 2015 with a non-standard the angle and it rides an inch or two higher than stock. Axle has brakes, camper not wired for them.I have an extra set of smaller 8" wheels that I use and it still fits through the garage door. Has full size wheels as well. It has all the parts. Includes fridge, front window shield, tire cover and 4 leveling jacks. The bad: **** bring a car dolly or flat bed, not towable as is **** Not good to tow - tires are old, no roof support or rear floor and bearing/brake is dragging on right side. Can't check left side right now. It needs all the window/door seals replaced. They leaked and the floor rotted. There was no support between the cabinet and ceiling. Front window is out. I took out the cabinets and rear floor and it's been sitting outside (covered). There is fiberglass damage at the back (bumper) probably from the floor rotting and no support above cabinet. There is fiberglass damage at the front from it coming off the hitch and hitting the back of the car (see damage on front and in ensolite). There is fiberglass damage to one of the cabinet supports from removal. I have the original cushions but they are rough. Paint is not original. Previous owner re-sprayed it and there is some bubbling now.
