Very solid and clean 1981 16-foot Scamp. Vintage windows, no leaks. I have owned it for 2 years, and it has been primarily used as an office just outside my home. I have only traveled with it three times in the last few years since purchase, to Carbondale, CO. It drove easily and well, towed with a '17 Acura MDX. There are no electric brakes and no sway bar. It is very lightweight, approximately 1800-2000 pounds when empty. The ceiling is the "elephant" skin, not the "rat fur". Since it is a 1981 model, some components are original while some have been changed. Overall, it is a solid little camper that is great for a family with small children.

Purchased in Kansas in 2022, it was stored in a garage there. It has been under a cover since purchased here in Boulder.

Work done:

Professionally installed MaxxAir Fan last year, July 2023. Labor cost was $900 and the fan itself was $300. We installed it into the escape hatch on the top of the ceiling since one of the windows also served as an escape window.

New battery installed - July 22

Bearings were repacked in August 23rd by Boulder RV Longmont

4-inch foam mattress cut to fit, installed in August 23. Can include if needed.

Exterior Cover included - 2022.

A full check on the Scamp was done in 2022 by the RV Doctor. This was performed after we bought the Scamp in 2022. The report is available on request along with some recommendations they made, primarily regarding the plumbing system. In my research, most of these recommendations are fairly easy to implement. Since we used it as an office just off our house, we did not need the water or bathroom facilities. We did work on the circulation by installing a MaxxAir Fan and adding a new battery.

Missing:

Grey water tank under the shower drain.
Issues:

Neither the previous owner nor I used the sink or the bathroom. We have not used the water heater. E
The original 12V/propane fridge is still in place but needs replacement. We have never used it.
