Clean and ready to use immediately. No leaks, mold or smell.
We have done a lot of maintenance and repairs since we have owned it and for a trailer that is almost 50 years old it is in good shape.
- replaced window frames and resealed windows
- replaced flooring with luxury vinyl plank
- replaced cushions, & covers with 4" high density foam
- replaced curtains
- updated electrical wiring all running & break lights are working
- Inside electrical works
- painted inside including cupboards inside and out
- replaced tires and bearings
- rehung and stabilized the door
- resealed roof vent and added new chain
- no issue with the door locking
- All original jalousie windows are present and work great
- Frame is solid.
- ice box not a refrigerator
- lots of storage
Things to note:
- the propane lines are there but we have never used them.
- we have removed the water tank for extra storage
- the 2 inside bed lights have electricity to them but they aren't working and are missing the plastic covers
- there is an awning track but no awning
- Sleeps 3 ( we removed the top bunk and no longer have the accessories for it but if you are handy it can be added back).
- dry weight approximately 1100 lbs.
We have taken this camping all over the place for up to 3 weeks at a time and it has never let us down.
Great for collectors or people wanting a vintage fibreglass trailer.
