SOLD 1972 MKP Grandesse Camper $6,500 OBO - Pensacola FL

1972 MKP Fiberglass camper made in Denmark. We are asking $6,500 OBO. The camper is located in Pensacola FL 32526 - which is northwest FL near Alabama. We have a clear FL title for the camper and have owned it for 4 years.

We have LOTS of photos, so if there is something specific that you would like to see that isn't pictured, please contact me & I will send one to you. The camper is 18' long and weighs 1710 lbs. according to information I've found on the internet. I have not weighed the camper. It can be towed with a small car! It has NO toilet, but does have a bathroom with a sink. We have never used the camper so I can't tell you what all works and what may not. It does have a water tank & pump, kitchen & bathroom sinks, small refrigerator, propane tanks, and a small table that can be mounted in the front or rear of the camper. I believe there are a total of 4 windows that can be opened - one on each side of the camper.

The rear seating area converts to a bed and the small front seating area does also. There is a skylight but no a/c. The skylight leaked when we purchased it & we have never repaired it. The front double pane window has one pane with a couple of cracks, but the other pane is fine. It has great tires and original MKP mudflaps! There are 4 manual leveling jacks mounted underneath (one in each corner) and what looks to be the original jack handle is included. We also have a spare tire. The tow hitch has a neat 'brake assist' feature with a piston that applies the brakes as you slow down.

This camper is very popular in Europe and there is even a website for MKP owners. The previous owner reupholstered the rear cushions, but unbeknownst to us, the rear window leaked while it was stored and the upholstery was stained. I removed the cushion covers & attempted to wash them but was unsuccessful. Many stains remained and several zippers broke in the process. I have all cushion covers in a bag inside the camper in case the buyer wants to use them for a pattern, or recycle the good zippers.

This camper comes complete with an original tent structure that attaches to the exterior with tent poles and allows for an extra living space while camping! There are a couple of light lense covers that appear to be missing in the photos but we have them inside the camper.

^^This is printed on the tent ^^

The cushion covers/upholstery have been removed due to staining.
