Here's the recap: We bought this last December and it's not a good fit for us (me). The layout is not quite what I want and there are a few details which needed fixing which required me to bring it back for warranty work. Screen door replacement. Window replacement. Cupboard door replacement. Scamps are light, simple, and sometimes require a bit of fussing here and there. We made new curtains, for example, which are darker and keep the light out better (they will come with the Scamp). This unit is the 16' standard trailer, layout #3. Bunk beds to right of entrance. Small table. Two-burner cook stove. Heater. 3-way fridge (24v/12v/propane). Sink w. 12v water pump. Dining table converts to bed that fits two. Storage closet. Overhead cupboard/storage, etc. Two propane tanks. One 12v battery. Awning is pretty slick. The heater and AC work very well. A fan above the bed is surprisingly efficient and reverses, too, for cooking. These are easy to customize (see Scamp Owners International website). Comes with large cover. Only used on two trips, totaling 12 hours of driving. We're in Bemidji but can get to the cities and possibly other spots in the area. I recommend having anti-sway bars installed. I can't remember the exact weight, but it is under 2000 pounds and we pull it with our Honda Pilot (6 cylinder) with ease.
