SOLD - Loaded 2017 Escape 5.0TA - $32950 - St Louis, MO

Loaded, 2017 Escape 5.0 TA . One owner, picked up from the factory in Canada on Oct 2017. Sturdy, rivet-free contruction. Escape makes this trailer the same way that large sailboats are constructed. Excellent for boondocking.

All fiberglass, 21 ft, 4,500 lbs 600 lb hitch weight. Features and extras -- oven with 3 burner cooktop and cover, built in microwave, 2 way (propane/120 V) water heater, foot flush toilet, winterizing T-valve, 2 full height closets, dual 6 Volt batties (225 amp hr) 1500 Watt Invertor with transfer switch to all outlets, 160 Watt roof solar panel with charge controller, extra solar input mounted at rear of trailer, surge protector, removable power cord, LED Awning light strip on remote, Power awning, roof AC with digital thermostat and propane furnace, 7500 K Max Fan upgrade, wireless back up camera, Stereo/DVD plus 4 speakers, Jack TV antenna, extra insulation and opening frameless thermal windows, with opening thermal window in bathroom, aluminum rims with high lift axle, u-shaped dinette makes into single or 2 nd queen bed, 2 extra swing down counters, and 2 additional 12 V/USB outlets, upgraded custom formica and fabric.

Trailer has never been smoked in. Has a digital/key safe installed in closet, additional 4 ft storage space added under top stair leading to the bed area. Clean, lien-free Missouri title, accident and damage free. Actual mileage on the axles is about 6,000 miles in total as we stayed one month at a time as we traveled, unhitching and traveling locally while parked at an RV park.

The trailer was picked up, taken on a 6 month trip thru the southeastern US and is now set up on our lake view lot in a gated community in Bonne Terre (about one hour south of St Louis). It has been kept with heat on at 50 F (using a small ceramic heater -- nothing else needed as the trailer is so well insulated).

The trailer is only for sale because our first grandchild has recently arrived making future travel less likely. The lot is also for sale if someone is interested in having a secure, gated option for storing the trailer. Replacing the trailer is over $38,000 with at least a 4 or 5 month wait -- plus driving to and back from the factory in Canada (~ 2,200 miles each way from St Louis).

The ground to hitch height is 54 inches (about 17 inches above the floor of the truck's box in our case -- a 2017 1500 Chevy Silverado). The bumper to bumper length from the truck to the end of the trailer is the same as our previous Casita 17 ft with the width being about 8 inches wider (7ft 4 inches versus the Casita's 6ft 8 inches). For a hitch we are using a Curt 16K fifth wheel hitch.

Asking $32,950 (US) OBO
