FULFILL YOUR SUMMER CAMPING DREAMS AND SENSE OF ADVENTURE

This is a very special travel trailer. Significantly lighter than a Bigfoot 21, it combines the Bigfoot 17RB’s dynamic floor plan with the larger cabin & comfort features of the BF21RB Trailer. The BF19 offers BF21’s robust fiberglass shell, enhanced insulation, amazing cabin & basement storage; all wood cabinets; and outstanding build quality and workmanship.

This trailer is set up for dry camping: it has warm, LED bulbs in the cabin; 2 deep cycle batteries; 2 15 lb propane tanks, and a generator mounted on the back. The frame has relatively high clearance, which has allowed me access to remote, off road camping spots.

This is a tandem axle trailer - unique for a fiberglass trailer of this size.  As opposed to a single axle, the duel axle design produces a gentle, predictable rocking action; and is more stable, easier to pull and easier to maneuver and backup.

Like the BF 21, the undercarriage is fully encased. Reflecting Bigfoot’s march towards 4-seasons technology, this trailer includes superior insulation which has allowed me to camp comfortably in northern California’s rainy winters and late spring snow in the rockies. This same insulation moderates the cabin’s heat on warm summer days.

This trailer is designed to provide a comfortable living environment on or off the grid. The wood cabinetry is a lighter shade which gives the cabin a light and airy feel. A window on the rear wall provides additional light to the cabin. A full sized upper & lower storage cabinet, adjacent to the door, provides additional storage. The windows are tinted for daytime privacy. Night time privacy is insured by curtains on all the windows. Original upholstery, curtains, and wall paper in good condition. A window in the rear wall provides additional light to the cabin.

Over the years I have conscientiously maintained this trailer, and have gradually “tricked it out” to satisfy my creature comfort needs:

  • Exterior Electric Outlets

  • Full sized 8 cu ft refrigerator & freezer

The Bigfoot 19, was introduced in 1981. In the late 90’s, the BF 19 mold was destroyed along with several others in a factory fire. Bigfoot elected not to replace that mold. As a result, very few of these trailers are in existence.
