SOLD - 2018 Scamp 13' Trailer - $14,000 - Roseville, MN

Hi. As much as our family has enjoyed our 2018 13’ Scamp, we’re looking to find it a new home. It COULD have worked if I was a little more flexible OR a little shorter (6’4”).
Technically we were the 2nd owners, but we did buy it at the factory in Backus and have no indication that the camper was used before us. We camped about 6 times.
Weight: 2200 lbs.
Has a propane furnace and air conditioner. The air conditioner (if you can’t get cool, you must be camping on the Sun) has the “heat strip”, so you can warm the trailer with shore power and save some propane.
Three way fridge: battery, shore, or propane.
2 Propane tanks.
Standard 2 burners (has the wooden cover)
Sink: city water or holding tank (electric pump). Grey water tank for sink.
No Bathroom or hot water heater. The front bench can be turned into bunk beds that work great for people not like me (the 6’4” thing).
Bicycle bonus: two inch hitch built into a decent bumper.
*My two favorite features:
The Fiamma awning is awesome and still has that new car smell.
The MaxFan is amazing. Air in or out- many settings (controlled by remote) and great cowling to keep the elements out.

Also- a Scamp rarity: Trailer is equipped with electric brakes that I know very little about. It is controlled with a keyfob.

The BAD that I haven’t gotten around to: One of the connected stabilizers shook loose on the road and got dragged awhile. We’d been using other stabilizers anyway, because 4 is much more stable than 3. The stabilizers are included.

One of the big bed cushions has an unraveled seam about 6 inches long.

The silverware drawer is irritatingly squeaky.

The BIG BAD: the door has a gap on the lower (left) back corner. See the picture with the light coming through. I phoned the Scamp factory and they said it either needs just a hinge adjustment or the door is warped. The service person says they can do a heat lamp treatment that typically takes 3 hours with an average cost of $300. This is where you can bargain with me. Tell me you want me to take off the estimated 300 cost and some fun money to spend on your way to Backus. It’s a 3 hour trip- but there is plenty of camping out there. Service is booked until August. New Scamps are booked way beyond that.

I’m sure there are some things I’m missing and will edit the post as recollection happens.

Asking 14,000.
