SOLD - 2009 Scamp 13' Trailer - $11500 - Saint Peter, MN

2009 Scamp (post 2007 version that has a higher ceiling). I am 5'9" and don't have to duck for the A/C unit. Affectionately referred to by me as the "sCRAMP". It's small, but that is the point.
This is the Layout 1 model without a bathroom. It has never been cooked in, smoked in or used as a kennel.
Licensed as a Trailer in MN with permanent registration. Under 1,500#.
Front couch converts to bunk beds. (Custom pvc guard rails included)
I removed the propane mount/regulator (included). I preferred all electric operation for simplicity, weight and safety. Stove and Furnace can all be hooked back up to a propane tank if desired. I used the proper brass plugs to keep the lines clean of spiders etc.

Factory Features:
Air Conditioning (A/C) Unit that a 2000 watt inverter generator will start and run with ease at about 50% throttle. (Not all A/C units can do this)
Electric Trailer Brakes (requires your towing vehicle to have a proportional brake controller)
Sink and 2 propane burner stove top
Fresh/Gray water tanks (we have not used these)
Propane furnace
2" ball coupler
7 pin trailer connector
Rock Guard for front window
Fantastic Fan
2" receiver on back
Well insulated for a quiet and comfortable night of rest
Integrated screen door.
30 AMP electrical plug/retractable cord with 15/20 AMP adapter.
Manual tongue jack.
Manual sun/rain awning.

I have owned this camper 5 years (used 6 times) and performed many upgrades to suit our needs and "modernize" it. We recently decided that we have outgrown this camper and shifted interests away from camping. I probably spent as much time upgrading as we did using it. Yes, I am one of "those" people.
Tires/Bearings are very good. I have the paperwork for those. I just put a new deep cycle battery in it with a 2 year warranty. I have the receipt for that so you can claim the warranty if need be.

Owner Upgrades:
-The most significant upgrade that will set this Scamp apart from others is a AC/DC Nova Kool Fridge/Freezer. Look these up. They are used in boats and trucks. They work like your fridge at home but are extremely low current draw. You can run it on the DC battery for a 1-2 days alone! The original 3-way fridge was removed out of utter disgust of poor performance and generally being a pain in the butt. The smaller 3-way fridges sound great, but you don't have to search far on the forums to find out they are garbage. That is what we found out the hard way. This was an expensive ($900) but very rewarding upgrade. You will thank me for this upgrade if you buy it.
-LED Lights both inside and out. 1/10 the current draw so your battery lasts longer when off-grid.
-LED Running, Brake and turn signal bar on back aluminum seem of camper. The stock lights are not very visible in my opinion, especially if you are carrying bikes or something on the back. This thing is really bright.
-Vent fan cover for Fantastic Vent Fan. This allows you to keep the vent open while driving and when it's raining.
-Vent Fan speed controller. No wind tunnel effect with the default settings that the stock fan controller comes with.
-Custom "black out" curtains with a more modern pattern. Keeps it dark on the early summer mornings. Original curtains included if you want the retro look.
-Custom Baltic birch cabinet doors. I made these to brighten up and give it a less retro look inside. The original simulated dark wood grain doors are also included.
-Paper towel holder under cabinet over the sink.
-Indirect LED floor illumination. This is a custom light I added so you can see what you are doing without blasting your eyes or waking others when it's pitch black.
-Custom wood stove top cover. This gives you more counter space. It also doubles as a serving tray.
-New wood plank look linoleum for a more modern look.
-"Charge Wizard" smart charger add-on. This hooks into the standard power controller that is notorious for "cooking" your battery and over-charging it. This little device can be used to always leave your camper plugged into shore power without worry.
-Cargo grates on tongue.
-External 120 VAC outlet on bumper.
-Removable crate on tongue. (this is where the propane tank usually goes, hardware included for that)
-New Smoke/Carbon Monoxide Detector
-New Fire Extinguisher
-Bubble levels
-Fresh Battery

$11,500 (firm on price) cash or pre-verified bank cashiers check. I will just need to call your bank to confirm funds.
