SOLD - 2004 Casita 17ft Freedom Deluxe - $15,800 - Blaine, WA

Love at first sight was our experience. We bought this trailer nearly four years ago and have dearly loved it. Now we have 7 grandkids and bought something bigger.
We stored the cushions in a closet and kept the dinette in the bed configuration. We bought a mattress in a box. The previous owner did something similar. The dinette cushions have rarely been used.
We've enjoyed playing DVDs on the refrigerator while we sit in the two chairs and share snacks on the table.
It has a TV antenna with a TV stand mounted to the wall above the bed to the left as you face the rear of the trailer. We don't have a small TV, so never used the antenna.
On our last trip, the refrigerator fuel selector knob broke. The refrigerator still works but only on AC. A great thing about Casita is the fiberglass doesn't go bad. You can just replace appliances as needed. There are different technologies of fridges. We decided to let the new owner choose the best tech for your camping. The current one had a fuel selector for propane, AC or DC. That type takes up to 4 hours to get cold, but you can boondock (no utilities) with propane. The 12-volt DC models get cold in up to an hour. However, they drain your battery so limited boondocking. They will run off the AC to DC converter when plugged in.
The brakes and bearings were inspected and bearings repacked by Les Schwab in Ferndale. Brakes were said to be great.
The furnace, water heater, air conditioner, microwave, and fans all work. As you walk through, I think you'll have trouble remembering this isn't a new trailer. Weighs 2385 lbs. according to title. Gross weight fully loaded (water, propane and cargo) is 3500 lbs. Need class 3 hitch on your vehicle. This is a fun way to travel. Just drop the trailer and take off in your car.
