SOLD - 2004 Casita 17’ Spirit Deluxe - $15,500 - Corvallis, OR

For sale by third owners. We have enjoyed this Casita for 6 years and it was our introduction to RVing. It has been, in a word – Awesome! Casita has its own devoted owners and admirers who are very quick to offer help and/or advice. This, and the comfort it offers in a small footprint, make it an unparalleled intro to trailer camping. Casitas hold their value exceptionally well. This 17’ unit, at a dry weight of less than 2500 pounds, is very easy to tow. We’ve taken a few dozen trips and the Casita performs admirably. As we prepare for remote work/retirement/full timing, we’re upsizing to a larger floorplan, otherwise we would retain this as long as possible. If you’ve aged out of sleeping on the ground but don’t want to invest in a huge, gas guzzling tow vehicle, this is the trailer for you. Stored under cover most of its life with no smokers or pets in the unit. The two-piece marine grade fiberglass molded body means it’s unfazed by the nemesis of most trailers, Oregon rain. The full marine bath and indoor kitchen make it an excellent choice for a couple or small family. This unit isn’t new, but it has been well maintained with some nice modifications.

Casita manufactures and distributes (no dealer network) molded fiberglass trailers from their headquarters in Rice, Texas - outside Dallas/Fort Worth. Because of this, and their durability and reliability, they are surprisingly rare on the west coast. If you ordered one today, you’d pay almost twice this price, wait at least a year, then have to drive to Rice and back to pick it up (probably around $1400 in fuel costs alone at today’s gas prices).
