SOLD - 2002 Casita Freedom Deluxe 17' - $16,000 - Parker, CO

We are unfortunately leaving the fiberglass shell travel trailer world. We just upgraded to a toy hauler & need to sell our Casita. It's been a great trailer & I'm sure it will still be on the road after the much newer toy hauler replacing it is gone. I'm already regretting getting such a large camper & missing the ease of towing on the small Casita. It's about 3,500lbs & towed great behind my old Tacoma great with no WDH, I couldn't even tell it was behind the F350. The fiberglass shell trailers last forever & are very sturdy.

The Casita is in great shape & is ready to go camping right now. It's not as shiny as a new one, but needs nothing. Fridge & all appliances run great. RV fridges never cool that quickly, but this one worked fine, even up in the Rockies. I can fire it up a few hours beforehand to show it works properly. All other appliances can be tested at will. Air conditioning works good & it can be near an outlet for testing. After I installed the solar panel & charge controller it really never got plugged in as we boondock & the setup always kept the battery topped up. Battery never drops below 80% I just cleaned it out (un-winterized) & filled the fresh water tank, so you can see that all the plumbing is in great shape & leak free.

New brakes & wheel bearings (spare greased bearing for emergency replacement on board)
Replaced multiple windows seals
Replaced plastic vent caps
Piles of spare rivets & a full set of rivet caps
New bathroom vent fan

Known issues
Missing silverware drawer
Table is a little swollen from previous leaks (being fiberglass it's only cosmetic drawers & the table that can be damaged)
Some cosmetic rivet caps are missing
Some graphics are missing
Gel Coat isn't shiny anymore
Some mini-blinds are a bit rough
Awning is really crunchy & needs fabric replaced
Fridge only works on gas or 12v (120v element seems to be burned out)

Clear Colorado title in hand. Will not ship it or take a check. Cash or a cashiers check I'm present at the bank when is being issued only. Might consider a 2018 or newer sport side by side (like a Polaris RZR) in trade.
