SOLD - 2001 16' Casita Spirit Deluxe - $10,900 - Soquel, CA

Overall this trailer is in good condition with a couple of areas where it needs some attention. I've owned this travel trailer for 3+ years, and for most of that time it's been used as a home office. The casita is a fiberglass shell travel trailer with a cult-like following. Those who love them will usually never sell them, but it is time for me to lighten my load and find it a new home - so here we are. What I have loved about it is that it's small enough to tow with an SUV (I have a 2015 Ford Escape) and it also has a build in bathroom (shower / toilet / sink).

The Casita can easily sleep 3. It has a mini fridge / freezer (can be propane or 120 powered). It has a propane heater (blower runs on electric) which is adjustable with a thermostat. It has an AC unit which probably needs a recharge - I only used it on the 90 + degree days here with minimal impact. However it does sound like its doing the job and works fine aside from the lack of ice cold air. It has a two burner propane stove, propane hot water heater, built in shower / toilet / sink area that's totally waterproof and is probably the best thing about this trailer.

Since I've owned it, I have had all repairs done by Dennis at CoastalRV: windows resealed, the ceiling fan replaced and resealed, the center seam completely refinished (cleaned, new rivets, new seal and metal stripping re-applied). The first year I had it, I was unaware that there was a leak from a broken seal in the ceiling fan which got the cushions wet. There was some subsequent molding in those cushions which I discarded but never replaced. So, you would need to either replace those with a mattress or get cushions made, as you like. Replacements can be made locally or you can get custom ones here: https://store.casitatraveltrailers.com/collections/cushion-sets. Presently, the exterior light next to the door has condensation in it and the light is not working. I've had that repaired once but the issue has reocurred. The travel trailer has no known present leaks.

The tires are brand new with 0 miles on them - they have sat upon these painted white boards since their replacement in April of 2020. I will include a new jack with this sale so that you can re-tighten the lug-nuts on your trip home.

This sale also includes the cover featured in the photographs. It's an excellent dust/ash/rain resistant cover that is 6 months old. It's super sturdy and soft on the inside.

I am available for Covid-cautious viewings. Masks are a must. Thanks folks.

Please note: The NADA guide stated value is waaaay below market value for Casita trailers, in the same way it is for Eurovans, etc.
