SOLD - 1999 16' Scamp Travel Trailer SALVAGE Title w/Video small electrical fire - $3500 - Tate, GA

1999 16ft fb scamp travel trailer- Georgia - small electrical fire- salvage title -

Front bath (shower, sink, potty)

We are a very small used car dealer in Georgia but we mostly do campers of all types. Our personal love for fiberglass trailers and airstreams are what we do most often. We restore or flip our finds. If you are a GEORGIA resident you will have to pay sales tax.

This was purchased at an insurance auction from Idaho and has a Salvage Title. Yes, you can still get a salvage trailer insured, depending on your insurance company. They can still be safe as we have done multiples of similar items with no problem and get a savings in return.

We have NOT turned anything on in this camper. I did plug it in to see if the lights would turn on and they would not. There was a fire/smolder behind the fridge. The smoke and heat did some damage to the fiberglass inside (discolored) and the top vent melted (I removed it) and there is a small amount of fiberglass damage on the side. (see pictures/video)

This is a great project for someone who knows and can do electrical work. The inside is in great shape.

Outside - there are two other things that show damage that I do not think are related to the fire/electrical.
1- There are two places on the front right bottom that have some fiberglass damage. It seems the previous owner used some bed liner spray adhesive to cover the front to protect from rocks? but the two places need a little work (see video and pictures) More superficial.
2 - the ball connector/hitch is a little twisted and the jack is bent. I can still get it on my hitch with no problem and the jack will go up and down at an angle but it should be repace for safety for long trips. It was pulled to GEORGIA from IDAHO with this so I know it will be okay for a while to get it moved.

Tires are good.

We can deliver for 1.50 a mile with paid in full prior to delivery.
