Features of the trailer:
*Large rear dinette (seating for four adults), which also turns into a bed (comfortably sleeps two adults - my husband is 6’ 2”)
*Small side dinette (seating for two adults), which also turns into a bed (comfortably sleeps one child or one small adult)
*Two-burner propane stove
*Three-way fridge
*Rear-mounted air conditioner unit (provides more storage in front entry-way)
*Wet bathroom
Since purchasing last year, the following improvements were made by Little Home On The Road:
*New Dexter Axle installed (these need to be replaced every 15 years) - the brake assemblies are part of the axle so it also has new brakes
*Scissor jacks installed on all four corners
*Solar port installed
*Fridge door support bracket installed
We have also made the following improvements ourselves:
*Removed superficial rust from the frame and painted - you can’t tell there was ever rust and the frame is very strong
*Cleaned window gutters
*Replaced gaskets and resealed windows
*Replaced hot water heater
*Replaced air conditioner
*Replaced exterior kitchen vent
*Replaced cabinet faces and bathroom door
*New matching hardware on some of the cabinets
What items aren’t perfect:
*Bathroom sink needs to be repaired or replaced
*Front door catch needs to be replaced
*The floor has some flex in it - we researched this heavily online, as well as discussed with Casita and had Little Home On The Road inspect the floor. The way these Casitas are built, there isn’t much that can be done to “fix” this issue. Everyone we discussed this, along with the research we did, makes us confident that this is a non-issue
*The carpet on the ceiling is drooping a little - only an issue if you are over 6’ tall
