SOLD - 1997 Casita 16' Liberty Deluxe - $10,500 - Olympia, WA

We've decided to sell our Casita. This was purchased last year at a charity auction, so the previous ownership history is unknown. This model is pretty versatile, can be a king bed, 2 twins, or a full with a dining table. Currently set to be a full bed. It has a full wet bath, and A/C (works on shore power). It tows just fine with our Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. Supposedly weighs 2200lbs empty, though I've never had it on a scale. If your vehicle is rated to tow at least 3500lbs, you should have no issues with this.

Since buying it, we've had the following work done/parts replaced, almost all by Ernie's RV in Olympia
-3 new tires
-Axle inspected and serviced
-Replaced roof plumbing vents
-replaced 7-Way trailer plug
-replaced trailer chains
-replaced propane regulator
-added breakaway switch
-traced and fixed all propane leaks
-all interior light bulbs replaced with LEDs

This trailer is not perfect, below are its known/potential issues:

-The hot water heater was inspected by Ernie's and recommended to be replaced. This has not been done.
-Fresh water tank drain valve needs replacing. Part is in hand, has not been installed
-in floor table mount is broken
-Propane tanks need replacing (was planning on doing a tank exchange)
-Fridge works on shore power, unknown if it works on propane
-water system is untested. we did not want to chance it with the bad water heater and tank drain

Why are we selling it? Well, to be honest, we've never used it. We bought it, put $1000s into it, and have yet to take it on a trip. This size trailer does not fit our dogs, and our work schedules are more busy than we'd like. Rather than have it sit and deteriorate, we have decided to sell it to someone that can enjoy it.

I would be open to trades for vehicles, motorcycles, larger campers/trailers, etc. Feel free to offer up what you've got.

Thanks for looking.
