I purchased this Casita in January with the intent of rehabbing, but our plans have changed. This is a project trailer with solid bones. The first two photos are not of this exact trailer, but this model. I have a clean title in hand.

THE BAD:
It had a number of leaks (the front window still needs to be pulled and re-installed as it's still leaking) and has a number of rusty spots on the carpet. The plexiglass on the back window is cracked, as pictured, though it does not leak. Many of the wooden arcs that hold up the fiberglass furniture had rot so I removed them and they will need to be replaced. The wood floor beneath the carpet has also gotten wet and needs to be replaced (it's NOT sandwiched between layers of fiberglass, so the replacement is pretty straightforward)

This trailer was SMOKED in before I owned it, and I intended to strip it down to the shell, replace all the carpet, and build it back up. I will provide new acoustical carpet for replacement, should the smoke smell bother you, too.

THE GOOD:
These things are like unicorns--very hard to find in the used market. They hold up their value because of the demand and because they are so reliable and easy to fix. This is the super basic model--no toilet, shower, water pump to break! (The sink has a hand pump.) Has an integrated icebox, not a fridge. I sought out this particular model because it was the stripped down version, and because of the bunk beds.

The "aircraft" door works perfectly and closes completely--no warping!

What I know about it:
No holes or cracks in the shell
Tank holds water
All lights work, including running lights
Bearings packed in Jan before I moved it
New tires with just a couple hundred miles on them
I have all the parts (cushions, seats, etc) I just took them out to clean it.
