SOLD - 1990 17.5' Bigfoot Travel Trailer - $12500 - Denver, CO

1990 17.5 ft rear bath "Gaucho" model, which means windows on all four sides. A lot of light. Lots of views.
Two piece fiberglass construction makes these Bigfoot trailers solid and weather proof. Casitas, Scamps and Burrows are tiny survival pods, not living spaces. This Bigfoot is the best.

We bought this trailer in Portland and camped for two weeks on the way to Denver. It was great. Tows easily and stores easily. Fiberglass is strong, light and requires minimal maintenance.

I polished and waxed the fiberglass, replaced all the light bulbs with LEDs and flipped the axle for greater ground clearance. 3 way refrigerator. Four stabilizer jacks that easily lift the trailer off the ground for easy leveling. The toilet was professionally sanitized and we never used it. All onboard systems work. These units did not come with AC. The hot water heater and furnace work nicely to keep you comfortable and warm. The insulation is first class on all Bigfoots, but this was made before they had a winter package. The windows on this unit are single pane. Tires and brakes are good. Excellent two-way, three-speed fantastic fan. It was a barn find, stored for over 20 years in Washington State. The first owner never used it and it was stored for over 20 years. Second owner used it for long weekends on the Oregon Coast. I've camped in it 47 nights. This trailer is nearly unused - feels new.

NOTE: The door needs its interior wood frame rebuilt. I am fixing the door right now. I'm willing to drop $750 off the price if you would like to rebuild the door yourself or buy a brand new door for $500.

On the truck scales it weighs about 3000lbs when we're traveling. The tongue specs say 300lbs. I've towed it with an unmodified Toyota Land Cruiser and an old Dodge 1/2 ton truck.

To answer the million questions people are asking:

This was a barn find in Washington State.
Weighs about 3000lbs. on the scale, but specs call it as low as 1875lbs.
I'm selling because we loved camping and want to go full time. I bought a much bigger Bigfoot travel trailer.
This unit didn't come with AC. I did not install one.
There is a functioning 5 gallon hot water heater.
The windows are single pane. This was built before Bigfoot installed troublesome double pane windows.
It has a furnace that heats the trailer up in a few minutes with a thermostat.
Electric brakes work well.
3 way refrigerator.
The power and gas lines are there if you want to add a two way fridge.
I hold an Oregon Title in my name.
