After investing more than $2,300 in materials and every spare minute of six months renovating this little gem, I’ve decided to sell it to someone who can make more frequent use than my 2-3 weeks per year. I have a clear title. Here is a list of the repair and or replacements:
-New torsion axle with 5-lugs (1,400 miles ago)
-Three new 5-lug wheels and tires (includes spare)
-Replaced 40% of floor (front and back portions) with new 5/8” treated exterior plywood
-Replaced tail lights with bigger, brighter LED Scamp tail lights lights
-Replaced front window rubber trim and locking strip
-Replaced 3-way refrigerator with 2.7 cu.ft. 120-v unit (its mini freezer does great too!) for weight reduction
-Converted 2-tank propane to 1-tank system for weight reduction
-Replaced 20-gal. water tank system with easy access removable portable 2.5-gal. system (includes a spare 2.5-gal. tank also)
-Reconfigured “space-eater” closet to pantry with 3 slide-out drawers
-Replaced bunk bed unit with re-engineered convertible bench/2 opposing seats/porta potti (new, unused in wrapper)/swing-out access converter
-Installed waterproof vinyl simulated wood plank floors throughout floors and storage areas
-Replaced entire door latch so door can be locked from inside or out
-Replaced cushion covers with new removable custom-made denim covers
-Replaced all window coverings with custom curtains
-Painted all cabinet doors off-white for a much brighter inside
-Re-wired 4-pin trailer-to-car connector
-Undercoated entire trailer bottom with waterproof truck liner coating
-Includes 10’ x 13’ awning with telescopic support poles, ground stakes and camper attachments
-Includes small portable microwave
