FOR SALE: 1987 Bigfoot 17' "Gaucho" trailer, $7000. Located in Edmonton, Alberta.

This trailer is very clean and lightly used. I am the second owner. The previous owners took it to BC once. The rest of the time it sat and was used sparingly as a bunk house. Everything inside works - fridge (electric/propane), stove, water pump, lights, faucets, toilet, AC/DC converter. Blackout curtains were made for it and the flooring replaced last fall. Both vents were replaced in the past 6 months. The cushions are original but still firm - showing how little use they have had. The toilet seal was replaced. Both septic tanks work fine and the water tank does not leak.

Comes with one propane tank. There is no battery. There is no water heater nor shower. The awning was removed.The awning was poorly installed and there was some water that seeped down and damaged the wall and softened the floor. I replaced a portion of the floor under the dinette. I patched all outside screw holes and cannot find any further leaking. There was leaking and a soft floor under the fridge. I replaced that too and found that it was the rubber trim encircling the trailer in the middle that was actually channelling water into the space behind the fridge! I fixed that too. The front window cover is held with a stick, the screws that hold the arms in place need to be replaced. The trailer lights did not work with my vehicle. It could be as simple a problem as a grounding issue, I'm not an electrician. There are trailer brakes, they won't be worn out but may also need exercising/lubrication/service, I didn't use them.

Selling because we've settled into a lake house near town. Will consider trade for a trailer in very good condition with bunks - no slides, bumper pull preferred but not required. The trailer must be of equal or lower value.
