SOLD - 1987 17' Bigfoot Travel Trailer - $6500 - Lacey, WA

For sale I have a 17' Bigfoot travel trailer. I have had it for 8 years and enjoyed it on many trips locally and across the PNW. It felt like a huge upgrade in space and comfort coming from my 16' Scamp I had previous. It tows very nicely weighing only 3300lbs but with the storage and amenities of larger trailers. This trailer has been well taken care of with many upgraded items throughout the last few years.

The trailer is equipted with;
-2-7 gallon propane tanks,
-front dinnette (folds down to bed),
-couch in the rear corner (again folds down to bed),
-rear one piece bathroom, including flushable toilet, sink and shower,
-fresh, black and grey water tanks with the level indicator panel,
-2 room lights, dinette, kitchen prep and stove lighting, bathroom light and two small corner reading lights,
-LOTS of storage (under dinette seats, under the couch, rear hanging closet, all around above dinette and kitchen, fold down area above couch, cubbies behind dinette and couch backrests, 2 exterior accessible cabinets and a bathroom upper cabinet).

When I purchased the trailer the previous owner had already;
-replaced the axle, with 15" wheels and installed bearing buddies,
-replaced the furnace,
-installed an above stove vent and light hood,
-refitted with 2 6 volt golf cart batteries (would last 3 days in the snow running the trailer),
-added the roof vent cover.

Since I have owned it I have slowly continued the upgrades including;
-replaced the canopy fabric,
-replaced the blinds at the kitchen window,
-replaced the Dometic 3 way refrigerator,
-replaced the tires with Les Scwhab Gladiator, C rated 6 ply ST tires.

The trailer shows in its condition how well it has been cared for. I have kept it covered (mostly to protect it from pine needles) and generally waxed it at least once annually. The interior is in well kept condition with all of the original curtains and cushions still clean and comfortable. The trailer has served me very well and I hope it can continue doing so for another 30 years.
