Camper is going to need a complete interior restoration. There is no fridge furnace ac or h2O Heater, what you see inthe pics is what you get. Assume all systems will need attention or replacement.
The exterior is in great shape for being thirty two years old. That being said there are chips and small cracks/spider webbing. No major cracks in FG fiberglass . A true survivor!!!!
The lights work and are a seven pin plug. I pulled the camper 700 miles without issue. The tires should be replaced and bearings serviced to be safe. Axle is in good shape. Unlike a scamp or other fiberglass eggs,this camper is truly a two piece fiberglass camper with a wood floor on the interior. Much nicer for longevity but add a little weight. I would guesstimate this camper is around twenty two hundred lbs. Please make sure your Rig will pull it especially after completing restoration and fully loaded. This is a project the choice is yours: full on restore or interior restore only. There is no title bill of sale only. Camper is in Michigan Similar to amerigo or trillium
Liberty History:
Columbus CoachWorks of Columbus, KS decided to add a trailer to their van conversion line thus "VanCompanion" Liberty, was the floor plan name . the south east corner of Kansas was already home to several stick built trailers Nuwa Hitchhiker, Huntsman, Dreamer, Allstar, Kustom Kamper, sothe knowledge and parts suppliers were already there. The shell was purchased from Amerigo in Elkhart, Indiana, the frame with square tube sewer hose bumper from Young's Welding, same as Nuwa, the windows from Hehr, same as Nuwa, the before its time,fiberglass LP bottle storage cover like the current bigfoot and front window rock guard from Chanute, KS fiberglass, the cabinets like Huntsman and Kustom Kamper, a stick built aluminum framed trailer door with self storing screen door by Sailor, the continental tire cover from the conversion vans. All the interior wood framing came from the stick built trailer and van conversion industry knowledge in the area. The van conversion industry gave way to the new SUV market, so Columbus Coach went out of business in the early 90's again none of this can be proven just what just has been said by the locals.
