I’m the second owner of this 16’ Scamp. The first owner was an elderly lady that kept it in her garage and only took it out a few times. I unfortunately only got this thing out twice in the 3 years that I’ve owned it (which is why I’m selling) and have always kept it covered. Although it’s a 1987, it has almost no miles and is in pristine condition as you can see from the pictures. There’s a 2013 for sale and they look near identical.
These are highly sought after trailers because of their clamshell construction. They don’t leak and they last a very long time. They are also light and can be easily towed with a midsize truck/SUV. When I towed it with my Tacoma, it was like I had nothing behind it. I believe dry weight is about 1,900lbs.
This one has a little bathroom/shower as well. Bunk beds towards the tongue and another bed that is created from breaking down the dinning table.
It has a dometic fridge and can run off of ac/dc as well as propane which is nice. Everything works with the exception of the ac unit. Not sure what’s wrong with it.
Tires and frame are in great condition. There is no rust on the trailer. Overall is great condition. If you want to FaceTime, want a video tour, or want to check it out in person, feel free to text me.
