Canadian-made 13-foot fiberglass trailer pulls like a dream! It will weigh about 1,000 lbs. (once inside restored). Used with our 4-cylinder Subaru Legacy. Purchased it in 2009 as 3rd owners w/two kids. Even though used in summers, started a slow restore over the first 5 years b/c the floor was “soft”, the cloth wall liner was deteriorating, and one upper cabinet became detached. Restoration stopped b/c of family obligations. We hope our camper can get the "make-over" it deserves to continue serving another family. We have original photos of the inside of the trailer before restoration and of the restoration process if needed as a guide.
Restoration work done thus far (some by professionals) has come to $10,500. The following items have been restored:
Professional exterior epoxy white PAINT JOB ($2560)
Trailer FLOOR replaced w/ 3/4” MDO plywood. Bottom bonded to the trailer & top covered w/fiberglass cloth & epoxy resin so sealed in completely! Strong floor now! ($900)
Trailer roof reinforced w/1/4” plywood epoxied to roof for ease of reattaching some cabinetry & skylights ($450) (Additional strips of wood epoxied to walls to help w/installing cabinetry too.)
New TINTED WINDOWS. Original ones replaced inside their original frames ($1,000) (NOTE: Small window next to door still leaks though--looks like rubber seal needs to be replaced)
New ELECTRIC BRAKE SYSTEM installed ( $800)
New DOOR ($800)
New DEXTER AXEL ($400)
New SKYLIGHTS (one is a Fantastic Fan model) ($230)

We hope our Camper finds a good home!
