Have enjoyed camping with this classic U-Haul so much that I've made the decision to sell my belongings, rent out my house, and live full-time in an RV. Sadly, I've got to give up my lovely U-Haul.
The undercarriage is in perfect condition, tires purchased in August and have about 1,000 miles on them. Spare is new, never used.
Propane items were removed (but can be replaced) to allow for extra storage; used electric burners for cooking, and a propane camping stove (for cooking outdoors).
Back area a permanent bed, with fabulous memory foam topper. I still have the metal pole for the dining table, if somone wanted to put a table back in.
All new wiring, with added four-plug, grounded outlet on door side of the camper (this is fabulous for keeping most of the cooking outside of the camper) on a separate portable table (that I'll sell with the unit).
Includes porta potty.
Inside spotless -- no damage of any kind.
Outside of camper has one minor scrape above right wheel; otherwise sound body. Could use a good bath.
Room for fixing up, but otherwise in good condition and ready for camping.
Weighs about 1,000 pounds; super easy to pull with my 2011 V-6 RAV-4 w/tow package. Also easy to move around a campsite; two people can easily lift the front end and push the camper like wheelbarrel to position it.
Camper is parked in De Pere, Wisconsin (near Green Bay).
The referenced scraping . . .
I keep the bed permanently made. Still have the pole for the table.
The heating unit was removed and now there's loads of extra storage. There's also loads of storage under the bed.
The front of the camper. This is where I hook up my refrigerator and also lay down cushions for sitting.
The galley. The stove and range hood were removed for extra storage/use.
