SOLD - 1985 16' Scamp - $7000 - Manchester, NH

My fiance and I are selling our 1985 Scamp 16' trailer. We purchased this trailer in 2018 from a couple in Tacoma, WA. The trailer was completely redone by the previous owner, including all electrical work, a paint job, a spray coated frame, an installed propane refrigerator, new floors and removal of the water tanks (old bathroom is now a closet). Our renovations included painting the cabinet doors, putting on new cabinet door knobs, new tires and a brand new marine deep cycle battery. The trailer weighs roughly 1600 lbs, and can be towed by most vehicles. I have towed this trailer with a 2007 Toyota Tocoma v6 with no problem, though we have seen them towed with jeeps, mini coopers and other less capable vehicles. The trailer does not have a bathroom, but includes a portable toilet (clean) that can be used if rustic camping.

The only issue with the trailer is that its furnace is not currently working. It was working last year and may just need a sail switch ($25 part) but I do not want to take the furnace apart to figure out what's going wrong. I will list some features below. We took out the bunk bed to create more room on the couch, but will reinstall before being sold so new owner will have all original parts.

-New propane fridge
-3 Burner propane stove
-5 speed fan installed on the top of the trailer
-150amp deep cycle battery (new)
-400w power inverter
-I will include a 140w solar panel that connects to the battery and fully charges the battery when used ($650), you simply aim it at the sun and clip it to the battery terminals like you would to jump a vehicle
-Spray coated frame
-New coat of paint (done by Scamp)
-Newly painted interior doors and cabinetry
-Pump operated sink
-LED lights that require little draw on the battery

We are selling this trailer because we plan on moving to Hawaii and will not have a good place to store it. Aside from the furnace there are no issues, the furnace can easily be fixed and was working as of last year. When connected to shore power you can also just run a ceramic heater which would heat the trailer in no time. We are asking $7000, as the shell of these trailers goes for $4500 and we would be including the solar panel. Fiber glass is extremely light, reliable and leakproof. If interested please feel free to call, text or email. I would be happy to answer any questions you may have or provide more pictures!
