1985 17' Big Foot fibreglass Travel Trailer has a huge reputation for longevity, due to it's "clam shell" no leak design. Aluminium skin wood frame trailers & campers have the Aluminium sections secured with rivets. With time and road mileage/vibration, the rivets loosen and water eventually creeps in. That is why you see most trailers older than 5 yrs, covered with tarps. Bigfoot uses a 2 piece moulded fibreglass to stay water tight.
Model B17 is also light enough to pull with a Van/SUV. We use a 2004 Toyota Sienna Van with Electric brakes.
