Our family is growing, and it is time to let our first little home on the road go to a new owner. We bought Junebug the CT in 2016, spent a year traveling in her full-time, and have since taken her on many shorter adventures back and forth across the country. She’s a great little trailer who has given us some amazing memories. Sad to let her go, but excited for her adventures to continue!
Clean Texas title; lightweight and small enough to tow with just about anything — we towed her with a Subaru Crosstrek; can squeeze in to the smallest and coziest of campsites!
We completed some renovations:
- New 30amp electrical installed
- Plugs installed in front by table and by the bed
- Installed a light above the closet, but it was too bright/powerful for us and is currently disconnected (wiring and switch still there, if you want to connect a light or something else in that space)
- New sink and faucet installed
- Vintage look electric mini-fridge installed
- Air conditioner installed (could use some new insulation around it to work well in super hot temps — can provide more info on what we did for Texas summers)
- MaxxAir vent with rain cover installed
- Battery powered touch lights on ceiling + battery powered lights under cabinet above sink that are controlled with a switch by the door
- Custom cut butcher block countertop + table (we worked on the road and the table made a perfect desk!)
- Smart Tile backsplash with storage racks for dishes, etc.
- Custom wooden cabinet doors with leather pulls
- Gray interior paint (can provide info on paint color to use for touchups)
- Wood-look laminate flooring installed
- Custom cut curtains (could use a good cleaning, or inexpensive replacements are available from IKEA where we bought them)
- Reflectix insulation installed on ceiling, covered with yellow marine vinyl
- Custom cut memory foam mattress with new, unused waterproof cover
- Storage cabinets installed by front door and under countertop/table
- Comes with an awning (not currently installed, got it from previous owner)
She’s an old trailer, so she has her quirks! Things to know:
- Has been in storage for a bit — we cleaned her up, but the whole thing could probably use a good deep clean
- Normal wear and tear from full-time living and lots of camping — could use some interior paint touch ups and small cosmetic things like that
- These are known to have some leaks around the windows — we never had any major issues, but one window would leak a bit in heavy driving rain (we simply pulled out the awning or covered that one window and all was OK)
- The exterior lights stopped working on our last trip and we haven’t had time to find a fix (we installed temporary tail lights to get home, and those work great)
- Could probably use a new set of tires at some point soon
- We ended up using an outdoor sink, so we don’t have the plumbing hooked up — but the sink/faucet are installed, and there’s a water tank included
- We mostly camped at electric sites or used our portable stove, so the propane line isn’t connected to anything — but it is there and available if you need it
