I have a 1985 Uhaul Camper
The fiberglass mold for a scamp was used by uhaul back in the 80s you could rent these and tow them with almost any car.
Tongue Weight: 160 lbs
When I move the camper around on flat ground I can pick it up by the tow hitch.
Very light and easy to tow with small
trucks and cars.
This model is a dinette with kitchenette and bench area to the right of that.
The dinette section that folds down into a full sized bed.
Storage under all the benches and a wardrobe to hang shirts and clothes.
If you have kids the hinge is still there to turn the other bench into a bunk bed for kids.
The bunk folds up into the front window while driving.
Some people convert these as an extra flip down counter for when parked.
I used to pull this with a 1998 4Runner and a 2002 Volkswagen TDI plus one trip with a Subaru Outback towing it.
Camper comes with stock refrigerator that works when plugged into power or on a separate generator.
I used to carry a small 900 Honda generator they are super quiet a little bigger than a milk jug and powers everything you would ever need in this.
I have lowered the price to 5000 so that you can spend a a couple hundred on blinds and new cushions or covers if you want a newer feel.
The floor is bare as of now but it came with a carpet I saved for a template.
I plan on cutting a new piece of carpet for it or installing the wood laminate flooring I have depending which looks better.
