1984 16 foot Scamp

We’ve had such a great time with our Scamp and have done a lot of work and improvements. Time for a bigger camper for the family.

I just replaced front window and replaced the back 3 years ago. New cushions from Scamp a few years ago. Beetle kill cabinet doors and dinette table. Air conditioner, 3 way Dometic fridge/freezer, new tires and packed bearings about a year ago. Replaced lots of bolts with stainless steel and Scamp bolt caps. Led rear lights, Led interior lights, dual propane tanks, 4” memory foam mattress for dinette bed, new bunk hardware for front couch/bunks. Had a portable toilet in the bath closet when we bought it and we didn’t want to clean it up or want one in the camper, so we added shelves for storage. They cAn easily be removed if you want to put a travel toilet back in.

Didn’t have a heater when we got it and we didn’t want an RV forced air heater- too much battery draw. It comes with a Mr Buddy catalytic heater and CO detector and a small ceramic plug in heater if you are plugged in. Has water tank, which we never used, as our camping season is very short. Has a inverter, solar charger and 60 watt panel. Hardwood laminate flooring installed 3 years ago. I replaced (retrofitted) a new door lock for greater security, it’s so much better than the original one. The door hinges have been replaced and has security bolts. New door drip flashing. Comes with a microwave and small TV. We have never used the TV, it works and has a remote. I’m including wheel chocks, and leveling blocks. 1 7/8” ball. Great camper and Wonderful Scamp!
