SOLD - 1984 13' Scamp camper - $6000 - Rocky Mount, NC

All fiberglass construction eliminated the rot and water damage prevalent in so many small campers. This one has had some modifications and has been reconditioned. The original propane system was taken out because of safety concerns ( old propane systems have caused many a fire in small campers.) When plugged into shore power, I use a microwave oven or electric hot plate for cooking, and a cube heater. I installed a 5000 btu AC unit which works great. The camper does have a sink. Within the last few months we have replaced the axle with a Dexter torsion axle, we have purchased new tires and a spare, we have purchased new kitchen cushions, a new kitchen table, and new curtains through Scamp. The interior, covered by a rubber type insulation called ensolite, has been repainted. The interior has been modified to include a permanent rear double bed and a two person front dinette.

The original ice box has been removed and makes an ideal place to store the porta potty ( not included). We spent a good deal of time and money on this camper, and we hate to sell it. We have been given a wonderful gift by an elderly aunt and uncle however, a small vintage camper that has been in the family for years. We can't keep them both, and the Scamp must go.
