This Burro truly has no issues and is in need of no repairs. I bought it in 2012 and did all the restoration work myself over the next 2 years (a good friend did all the frame welding for me because quite frankly he is a better welder) so I can answer any and all questions you may have. I can assure you that all the work is first class as I am a Union Carpenter/Millwright with 32 years experience and I know my way around a toolbox. I have numerous pictures of the frame off restoration process that you are welcome to see when you come to see the Burro itself. This camper is literally new from the ground up and has less than 2,000 miles on it since the restoration. I have taken it out a total of 5 times all within Pennsylvania-just enough to shake out all the kinks without putting any wear and tear on it. So if it's that great why am I selling it you ask? Well I have moved on to my next restoration project---after 4 years of searching I was lucky enough to find the perfect cabin in Central Pennsylvania (now you know what those 5 trips in the Burro were for). Anyway-here is the nitty gritty:
New Goodyear Marathon ST175/80R13 tires
New wheels and full moon chrome hubcaps
New 2000 lb rubber torsion bar axle
New reinforced all steel custom frame including extended rear deck with fiberglass non-slip grating
New center mount top wind tongue jack
New floor made of 1/2" exterior grade plywood fully coated and waterproofed (both sides and edges) with Flashmate brushable sealant prior to installation (if you're not familiar with this product it is esentially liquid rubber used in the roofing industry) after installation the entire underside and exposed edges were then coated with automotive undercoating. All body/floor/frame seams were then sealed with silicone caulk.
New 1/2" high density rubber interior wall to wall floor mat
New indoor/outdoor carpet
New Birch cabinet doors/countertops
New 36" flourescent under cabinet light fixture
New 4" foam full size mattress
New custom cushions with removable washable covers
New curtains (with blackout linng) and new rods
New stainless steel door latch/lock
New aluminum drip guard over door
New 4 pin flat wire harness-all lights removed/reconditioned/reinstalled and all lights/flashers work
New all weather cover
Front window gravel guard repainted/resealed/clearcoated
Exterior cleaned/stripped and 5 coats of Zep Wet Look Wax applied
All 5 windows and roof vent removed/resealed/reinstalled---all work and have screens and latches
All interior and exterior hardware is stainless steel
Floor at doorway reinforced with stainless steel bracket attached directly to frame (see picture)
Includes spare set of new wheel bearings and grease seals
Includes 2 jack stands
Includes 2 wheel chocks

The original ice box, propane stove and water tank were removed due to age and condition but if you're a purist and want to reinstall them they come along as well.
If you have been seriously looking for a Burro then you know they have 2 inherent problems-rotted floors and broken frames-this restoration took care of both of those items and while I was at it I thought what the heck let's just do it all!! The finished product is a gem that is fairly priced and located in a part of the country where you typically don't find them. If you are a serious buyer please feel free to contact me with any questions. If you're just a tire kicker let's not waste each other's time.
