SOLD - 1982 16' Scamp Travel Trailer - $7,400 - Davis, CA

This is a vintage 1982 sixteen-foot Scamp travel trailer. It’s an extremely light weight RV that can be towed by almost anything; if you’re not familiar with them, do a search – Scamp trailers have quite a following. It's well used and could use some work but can also be used as is. I bought it a few years ago with the intention of remodeling it but got caught up with other projects and used it as it with a few minor upgrades/repairs along the way. This is the floorplan with a bench/bunk across the front, a side bathroom (wet bath- toilet/shower), a galley kitchen, and a rear dinette that converts to a double bunk.

• Current permeant trailer registration
• The axle was updated a few years ago to a leaf spring axle that lifted the trailer a bit, making it better suitable for mild off-road use (or getting in and out of driveways) and allowing the use of fully freeway speed rated tires.
• All three wheels and tires are in good shape (third being the rear mounted spare).
• All exterior lights were upgraded to LED.
• New (August 2021) 12v sealed deep cycle battery, used on one trip only and kept charged
• The potty is relatively new and in great shape, as is the electric water heater.
• The propane stove is original and works well.
• The propane heater was replaced prior to my ownership and works well
• The trailer originally had an ice chest (side opening) that has been removed to facilitate either storage. The cabinet cutout is still there and could accommodate a refrigerator (not included).
• Interior cushions are in good shape and include memory foam toppers.
• Exterior awning over the entry side.
• New manual trailer jack, and an included (but unmounted) electric jack in working order; I took it off to reduce dependance on the battery.
• Includes a new in the box (not yet mounted) front window gravel shield (recently delivered from Scamp).
• New (Spring 2021) scissor style leveling jacks mounted on each rear side; two lightweight pedestal style (unmounted) for the front
