Fresh restoration and updates on this adorable 1980 Scamp. Fully repaired and sealed undercarriage (chipboard). New exterior electrical wiring and tail lights. New flooring, new sink fixtures, new tubing to water tank (water tank in great condition). Walls are freshly sealed; new paint and curtains! New storage insulation. Windows and exterior rivets are sealed and do not leak. New table. Pretty door knobs. Top bunk features a custom guard rail. Stove and propane both work *but* the gas line itself needs repair or replacement. Exterior has some minor fiberglass damage and could use a new coat of paint, but fully functional. Axle is in great shape. Comes with gravel shield, hitch lock, new camper cover ($150 value), extra restoration supplies (paint, flooring, molding), if desired.
For six months in '79-'80, Scamp had a name dispute and produced a small number of trailers under the 'Acorn' name. Hence, this very unique and sweet little camper! We restored it last year and camped in it all summer, LOVED it, but unfortunately our family is buying a new house and this little lady will provide much needed cash. Back to tent camping for now! We hope she goes to a nice new owner who continues to give her the love she deserves.
