Consider this 13' 1975 Boler camper trailer (Canadian version of the Scamp) base camp for your next adventure. This is a great size for the small family of three (or even four), could be mom and dad's spot while the kids sleep in the tent. Maybe you're looking for a romantic getaway in one of our many beautiful parks! Whatever your adventure, this is a great little and light portable home away from home for those who don't feel like investing (or hauling) in all the camping essentials but feel the call of the wilderness.
The Boler is super lightweight, and is easily towed with our Subaru Crosstrek. It's mostly all original with new tires in 2016 (including spare, and serviced wheel bearings), relatively new wiring, and updated cabinet doors. The original exterior is in great condition for its age, with a spot that shows some cracking (just above Boler badge on back), and a small nick that breaks the surface to the left of the door (see both in the photos). The cushion covers have been replaced with new covers from the Scamp factory, as well as a new fridge cooler (uses block ice).
Bolers and Scamps were produced in the same factory and as a result, you can order whatever parts you need straight from Scamp.
If you're looking for an original vintage trailer that you can add your own final touches too, this one is super solid and ready to go. It's not perfect, but it's pretty darn close for a camper of its age with no major restoration.
It is wired for a house battery, but there is not currently one installed. You can plug-into shore power and there are two outlets inside. It also has a small water tank that is plumbed to a "hand pumped" faucet. The propane tank feeds the gas stove as well as the wall heater.
We've owned the camper for about four years and it's been lots of fun, but we also have a Volkswagen Westfalia and get more use out of that.
