This scam ad is listed throughout CL in numerous locations across the U.S. The pics were taken off of a prior Scamp listing for a Scamp that sold for $12,000. In more recent postings the Scammer has changed the year to 2007, but pics still the same.

Very nice camper with no leaks or damage anywhere. You won't be disappointed. The camper has many storage compartments, propane heat, air conditioning, sink, fridge, toilet, shower, microwave, fan-tastic fan, and a two burner propane stove...It also has an exterior 120v electrical hook up, and two propane tanks. 2 inch ball hook up. Floor and frame is solid and everything works as it should. The bench turns into two bunk beds and the table turns into a bed. It sleeps up to four people.

I found an add on Facebook and so far all the the woman's replies feel shady and off. The add and the reply email were originally from 2 different names and after a friend contacted the other person the add was changed. She claims its being handled by ebay motors but when I look there is no listing and when I ask for the ebay link she won't give it to me. Instead she keeps asking me for my full name, address and email address.

Yes, this is definitely a scam. Here is the original Ad. The trailer sold for $12,900. The scammer stole the pictures off of the Internet and, as they always do, gave it a ridiculously low price, hoping people will set aside better judgment in order to snag a "deal.". So glad that you did not fall for it and lose your money.
