For Sale is our rare 2008 Scamp 5th wheel, layout 8 on the Scamp website, which includes the shower and toilet and room for 6 people. This trailer was custom built in 2008 from the manufacturer in Minnesota, it has quite a few upgrades from the base model (description below). The trailer has never been smoked in and has always been taken good care of since it has left the factory. We used it for a once in a lifetime trip with our 2 kids cross country and even though we fell in love, we are sticking to the plan to sell it and keep the 1983 Scamp that we rebuilt as a fun couples project. This trailer has been great in cool and hot weather and has proven its reliability. All systems work beautifully, water, heat, air, refrigerator, toilet, shower. This trailer is so lightweight that it can be towed with the smallest of trucks, a Toyota Tacoma was plenty big and towed this trailer effortlessly through the Rocky Mountains. The trailer is in great condition other than a 5" chip on the front lip of the trailer from contact with the truck bed when entering a driveway. This is cosmetic only. There is also a small fiberglass repair in the passenger side tire well ( a faulty tire threw its tread and damaged the fiberglass. The repair made it better than new).

The trailer is located in S. NH and can be viewed.

***Hitch heights are all relative According to the Scamp instructions page 9, the height of this trailer hitch is 40" to the top of ball. If the sides of your truck are higher than 48" a raised axle may be necessary. Note that this trailer has been raised due to the upgrade in tire size from 13" to 14". Note that our truck has sides 56" tall and the ball is at 44" and we towed 7,000 miles with no issue.
