SOLD - 2008 16' Scamp Travel Trailer - $9,500 - Hillsboro, OR
Job transfer out of state means we will sell our Scamp by end of April ... an offer I couldn't refuse!
16' Scamp trailer, side bath with toilet and shower, front bench converts to bunkbeds, 12gal fresh water tank with on-demand pump or direct connect to supply, 5 gal propane hot water heater, sink, 2 burner propane stove, dual 120v/propane fridge w/freezer, dinette converts to full size bed. 120v and 12v, coax connector, heavy duty 12v battery, dual propane tanks - fresh for this camping season. Uses 2" ball, 7-pin connector (electronic brake controller), ~2000# loaded. Floorplan #4.
No A/C - not needed in Oregon, reduces height for easy storage, less weight for easy towing, just something less to go wrong - a Fantastic Fan does the trick. Pre-wired/vent for microwave. Much, much nicer than tent camping - quiet, secure, and no more stumbling through the woods to use the bathroom at night. With the Scamp, you stay inside each morning until after coffee, a shower, and bite of breakfast - oh, so civilized!
Stored heated under cover - not musty or funky - fresh and clean as new. Used ~12 times, great fun, very convenient and economical. Ready to go camping today.
We've reserved 2010 season campground slots for Wallowa Lake, La Pine, Silver Falls, and Fort Stevens - available with purchase, if they work for you ($200 value).
We towed with our 2004 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner doublecab: 5 passenger, V6, AT, AC, PW, PDL, canopy, rear slider window, Yakima quick-mount roof rack system for canoe, etc., tow package with Tekonsha brake controller (rated 5000#). 53k miles, no problems, recent highway tires for quiet ride. Clear title. 20mpg solo, about 17mpg towing the Scamp. Kelly Blue Book Private Party "good" condition value of $14,570.
Scamp: $9500
Scamp + Tacoma as a package: $21500
