The economy is killing me and I am heartbroken at selling my beloved "Bessie".
I know her whole history, the original owner sold her in 1988 to the man I bought her from. I have all receipts and instruction manuals. All original condition, everything works.
This trailer is one of the largest "egg" trailers, yet is the smallest made with dual axles, which is an awesome rare combination for safety for pulling. Dry weight is 2400#.
Sleeps 4: has a "gaucho" bed, which is a couch that folds down to a double bed, and the dinette is a double bed. There is a bunk above the gaucho for kids/gear. Self contained with full bath, shower, fresh, grey, and black water tanks. I've added a thermostat Fan-Tastic Fan in the vent hole (no cutting necessary). The water heater was replaced in 2006 or so. The water pump was replaced in 2011. The exterior is waxed and polished (including the roof) regularly. The RV man does a complete check and tune up every spring. Previous owner added a solar panel on the front that is very sturdy and large enough to keep the battery charged to dry camp indefinitely. I have camped in winter, running the lights and furnace each night and the solar tops it off each day. No need to plug in unless you want ac power for the microwave/toaster/coffee maker. Has linoleum original floor with carpet under the dinette only. Non smoker! The RV is covered in the off season with a waterproof breathable cover.
Tires is great shape.
Dual 5g propane tanks (both are full).
Axles were replaced and beefed up about 6 years ago. They are each rated at over 5,000#, way more than necessary.
Spare tire to match, only one year old, in enclosed cover.
Awning works and has only one small tear that doesn't effect it (from scraping when it was rolled up).
I had the door rebuilt as it was starting to sag, swings and latches light as a feather now, but still all original parts. Original screen door in perfect condition.
Floors, walls, ceiling, all in perfect condtion. No body damage.
All original mauve velour upholstery, was covered and in perfect condition.
Curtains and blinds all original and in perfect condition.
4 burner stove and oven.
Double basin stainless steel sink in kitchen. With original matching covers for more counter space.
Original 3 way Dometic fridge, all three settings work perfectly.
Thermostat and furnace work perfectly.
Shower head works, no leaks in bathroom, has original curtain/fixtures.
Two sets of keys for everything (storage areas, door, and deadbolt).
Bulldog hitch with new 7 prong plug. Brakes work perfectly.
It even has back up lights, wonderful for pulling in to camp after dark!
Wired for tv cable in the tv shelf. External antennae works too (you now will need a digital converter box to receive the analog signal).
Including extras:
1200 watt generator, all season RV cover ($350 from Camping World, one year old), extra 3rd propane tank included (I don't need it), all dumping accesories, AC 30amp cord (very long) with standard polarized plug connector if only access is 110, portable dump tank (the kind like a hand truck), coffee maker, toaster.
Here is a video tour:
Yes, I would camp with my senior, one-eyed bulldog in the video, but she's very arthritic and wasn't able to get on the upholstery and she only slept in her dog bed under the table (her favorite "den").
Hook up and go camping, four seasons!
